Thai Yoga Bodywork

Thai Yoga bodywork is an ancient and sacred healing art with deep roots in yogic and Buddhist practice. It combines the alignment of the breath, yoga stretches, joint mobilization, soft tissue manipulation, rhythmic rocking, acupressure and energy balancing. It relieves muscular tension and restores your body's balance. Health benefits include relief from many ailments-- asthma, migraines, anxiety, stress and depression, to name a few. Thai Yoga bodywork rejuvenates and relaxes both the recipient and practitioner.

In this Thai Yoga workshop you will learn the basic movements to stretch feet, legs, back, arms and neck. We will work with partners, both will be giving and receiving. Some literature on the basic movements will be provided, You will go home with enough knowledge to apply what you learned on your family and friends (although you won’t be certified as a Thai Yoga Bodywork professional). No prior experience needed. Mats and props provided.

Workshop fee: $50 advance registration; $55 at the door.
