Yoga for Osteoporosis

Click on the flyer for more details.

As reported in The New York Times, a ten-year study designed by Loren Fishman, MD showed that participants who practiced a 12-posture yoga sequence every day improved their bone density after two years.

In this workshop you will learn the postures in the sequence and how they are designed to help build bone in the areas most prone to fracture. You will also learn some precautions and modifications which will allow you to attend regular yoga classes more safely if you have osteopenia or osteoporosis.

Saturday, March 24, 2pm–5pm

Exchange for event: $45 Early Bird (register by March 19th), or $55 from 3/20–3/24
