The yogic practice of heart-centered group chanting known as kirtan can calm the busiest of minds and effortlessly shift us into a profoundly healing, joyful and peaceful place. Come experience the power of Sanskrit mantras through easy call-and-response chanting framed by eclectic sacred music played on harmonium, tabla, guitar, and didgeridoo that will take you on a special heart and soul journey. Whether you are a seasoned practitioner of this form of Bhakti Yoga or brand new and wondering what it is all about, we welcome you with open hearts. Feel free to invite your friends. No music or singing experience necessary.

“Sita” Miriam Zernis has been joyfully guiding all who are drawn to kirtan into a deep and heart opening experience in NY, CT, Canada and Europe for over a decade. She is known for effortlessly transporting a group into a place of inner peace and tranquility while making kirtan accessible for all levels of experience and curiosity. Her kirtans are a soulful combination of traditional old world and original chants blended with eclectic sacred music. She is joined by several talented musicians on the mission of spreading the practice of Bhakti Yoga wherever they go.
